Questions about the wishlist checker

How do I find my Steam profile link?

Open your profile on steamcommunity.com and copy the address from the browser bar. It looks like steamcommunity.com/id/yourname or steamcommunity.com/profiles/ followed by 17 digits. The 17-digit Steam ID or your custom profile name on its own works too.

Why does it say my wishlist is private or empty?

Steam only shares a wishlist that anyone can see. In Steam, go to Edit Profile, then Privacy Settings, and set Game details to Public: your wishlist follows that setting. Then check again.

Which stores does it compare?

Every store listed under Stores at the bottom of this page, including Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Humble, Fanatical and GreenManGaming. For each game that is on sale, you see the cheapest of them.

Does it check my whole wishlist?

Up to 300 games: the ones you ranked highest on Steam first, then your newest additions. The ones on sale come first, biggest discount first; the rest follow at their regular Steam price, and you can save them all to your Saved list with one button.

Can I get an email when my wishlist games drop in price?

Yes. After a check, use the email button under your results and choose when to be told: when a game is 25%, 50% or 75% off its regular price, or on any drop in price. It covers up to 200 games, in your Steam order, and starts once you click the link in the confirmation email. Prices are checked every six hours, you get at most one email per check, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Do I need to log in, and do you keep my profile?

No login, and we never ask for your Steam password. The profile you enter is only used to fetch your public wishlist and is not stored on our server. Your browser remembers it so your next visit checks straight away, and Forget this profile removes it.

Why is a price different from the one on the store?

Most prices are converted from US dollars into the currency you picked, and sales change quickly, so the store's own price can differ a little. The price at the store's checkout is the one you pay.
